Legacy Geckos ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and the Legacy Geckos online store from Atlasville, Boksburg, Gauteng, South Africa. These terms form an agreement between you and us. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or place an order.

Crested geckos are live animals, and their health and temperament can change after they leave our care. We make every effort to describe each specimen accurately, including its lineage, hatch date, and status, but individual colours and patterns can develop and shift as an animal matures. Photographs are representative; the specimen you receive is the one shown unless we tell you otherwise.

All orders are subject to availability and our acceptance. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order and to refund any payment already made. Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We may correct obvious pricing errors and cancel affected orders with a full refund.

Payment is due at checkout. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never receive or store your full card details.

We ship live animals via an approved courier service across South Africa, weather and courier permitting. Collection in Boksburg can be arranged by appointment. Shipping costs, if any, are shown at checkout. We are not liable for delays outside our control, but we will work with you and the courier to resolve them.

We guarantee live arrival when the animal is received on the first delivery attempt and the courier is one we have arranged. If an animal arrives deceased, notify us within 24 hours with a photograph of the animal in its unopened shipping container; we will arrange a replacement where possible or a refund. This guarantee does not cover neglect, incorrect husbandry, or events after the animal has been accepted in good health.

Because they are live animals, geckos cannot generally be returned for a refund once accepted in good health. If you have a concern, contact us immediately and we will work with you to find a fair resolution. Unopened supplies may be returned within 7 days in original condition for a refund of the product price.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to place an order. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

You agree not to misuse the site: not to attempt to gain unauthorised access, not to disrupt or overload it, not to use it for any unlawful purpose, and not to scrape, copy, or republish our content without permission.

The site, its design, text, photography, and the Legacy Geckos name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may not use them without our written permission, except to share links to the site or to display content as part of normal browsing.

The site and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or a purchase. Our liability for any single order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of South Africa, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above when we do. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
